As a Solution Architect in Digital Excellence Petrom Upstream, the job holder is accountable for fulfilling the architectural activities in order to define the specifications for building and changing the global systems and for providing effective and efficient IT Application services within and towards Global Solutions and OMV Petrom Upstream Group.

Responsibilities:
- As a Solution Architect in Digital Excellence Petrom Upstream, the job holder is accountable for fulfilling the architectural activities in order to define the specifications for building and changing the global systems and for providing effective and efficient IT Application services within and towards Global Solutions and OMV Petrom Upstream Group;
- The Job Holder is accountable for the architectural design implementation or architectural changes of IT systems, having analytical skills, specific IT architecture knowledge and abilities in using software tools or programming languages, in order to produce and implement workable solutions based on the requirements/ needs within and towards Global Solutions and Business Divisions;
- Responsible for the development of the solution architecture and technical aspects of the global systems, which implies to be the main solution provider for new requirements, find technical fixes for outstanding errors and drive complex implementations as solution architect;
- Accountable and responsible for continuous alignment with Information Ecosystem Petrom E&P Vienna and relevant stakeholders in Head Office Vienna and for active participation in globally defined Projects and Digit Up Use Cases; Responsible for continuous alignment with Information Ecosystem Petrom E&P, business architect, and data integration architect on business requirements, identifying solution gaps and available capabilities, and defining solutions to meet the business needs;
- Responsible for Hybrid Integration Platform implementation in the Information Ecosystem Petrom E&P Upstream environment;
- Responsible for staying close to the market in regards of new industry technologies, for the evaluation of new software and for providing the best technical decision in tender processes;
- Globally responsible for developing new technical capabilities inside the organization via trainings, knowledge sharing sessions or mentoring programs. Makes a significant contribution to defining development standards for the development function or lead internal projects;
- Supports the continuous development and improvement of IT services and related systems and technology with the definition, detail technical planning, and implementation of related development/improvement projects in DX. Determines together with DM Data Liberation & AI in Vienna what capabilities need to be developed.
Requirements:
- University degree and Master in respective discipline (Computer Science, Automatics or equivalent) or equivalent education along with solid occupational experience in the related field;
- 9 years overall working experience;
- Fluent in English language, capable of writing well in English and holding discussions and meetings, knowledge of processes, roles, and responsibilities on service line level;
- Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design;
- Excellent knowledge of what Services-based Architecture. Ability to embed best practices in developing an end-to-end solution;
- In-depth knowledge of Azure stack and develop solutions based on Azure resources;
- Excellent knowledge of ITIL processes, design frameworks, and best practices;
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and PLSQL;
- Strong experience with JSON, XML, REST, NoSQL Databases(MongoDB, Cassandra), Distributed Systems, RDBMS, MVC frameworks, Design Patterns, JavaScript, JQuery, Python;
- Extensive knowledge of C# using Visual Studio, using MVC and Entity Framework;
- Excellent knowledge in analyzing and designing interfaces between IT system in DX;
- Advanced knowledge of processes, roles, and responsibilities on department level.
