Role

As part of the Finance & Accounting Team you will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting tasks in a timely and accurate manner.

Your Key Responsibilities

• A key position within finance and accounting team requiring interpersonal skills and working with external and internal stakeholders on a day to day basis
• Reconciles inter/intra company balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis as assigned, following up on reconciling items to ensure timely resolution of underlying transactions or issues
• Assists with intercompany balances either payment or netting process used in the monthly settlement of inter/intra company balances
• Assist in evaluating effectiveness of processes and procedures and develop improvements, as needed
• Handle all intercompany transactions, accounting, confirmations and reconciliations
• Record intercompany journal entries to clear intercompany transactions
• Analyze aging for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables, resolve accounting related issues and disputes or escalate as required
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet and intercompany accounts

To qualify for the role you must have

• University degree in Economics;
• 3-5 years experience as Accountant (group accounting, management accounting);
• Good knowledge and skills to understand and create customized reports, to support reconciliations and ad hoc reports.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Fluent in English – written and spoken
• Excel – advanced level
