Senior IT Consultant for Container Management/Orchestration - IT TSR

Job Description:

• Responsible for the development and maintenance of a high quality, reliable, secure Kubernetes platform for Group IT and related IT areas;
• Design and tracking of development of cloud based solutions based on micro-services to ensure highly scalable, reliable and secure services;
• Authoritative, independent, and confidential consulting in container development operations for internal customers;
• Cooperation with the team to provide standards, procedures, and guidelines to improve the deployment process, scalability and reliability;
• Design, configuration, operation and support of our Kubernetes platform;
• Responsibility for troubleshooting complex issues, related to performance and functionality;
• Maintenance and development of our Prometheus and Grafana monitoring and alerting across our entire infrastructure;
• Autonomous management of user requests and incidents as well as creation of operational concepts, as well as analysis of the design and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• Computer Science or equivalent studies minimum (Bachelor's Degree);
• Well organized technical planning and problem-solving skills;
• Coordination skills (customer/vendor management);
• Project/process management skills;
• Ability to creatively solve problems with minimal guidance, while maintaining a timely, cost effective approach;
• High motivation to work in a challenging, global acting and multicultural team;
• Fluent in English (German a plus);
• Experience as an engineer in the environment of cluster deployment and orchestration technologies – . Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins;
• Experience with CI/CD and with an agile DevOps environment;
• Experience with container and container orchestration-frameworks (. Kubernetes) in a production environment;
• Experience with Infrastructure as code (. Terraform) and Version Control with Git (. Github);
• Experience with Linux, Networking and utilization of AWS and Azure Services;
• Experience with CI/CD (. Jenkins) and Information Security a plus.
