As Senior System Administrator you will be in charge with the well-functioning of all IT related activities and devices and will be of assistance for employees as a Help-Desk support.
Responsibilities:
- Configure internal systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Upgrade the network infrastructure
- Install servers, devices and firewalls
- Train new system users and set up their accounts
- Monitor the performance of servers, software and hardware
- Act as a first level IT support for the company’s employees
- Solving software, hardware and network issues
- Perform maintenance work on company stations and infrastructure
- Provide 7 X 24 support for the operations
- Actively involved in identifying and providing solutions for security vulnerabilities
- Maintain system logs and backups; handle restores as needed; configure user access and data
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven ability of working under minimum supervision, ideally in an e-commerce or online environment;
- Good experience with Windows OS
- Network knowledge: WAN, LAN, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, Wireless
- UTP cable wiring
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems
- English language, advanced level
- Availability during non-standard working hours to support unexpected production incidents
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team player
Would be a plus:
- Server Administrator knowledge (Windows, Server, Active Directory, Exchange)
- Linux knowledge (Ubuntu, Tomcat, Apache, Jenkins)
- Virtualization
- Knowledge to set up switch, routers, firewalls
- Database system knowledge
