Senior Java Developer (Cluj-Napoca)

You will be part of a self-contained team of technology enthusiasts that handles the high-security demands of a planning platform which enables large organizations to accelerate decision making by connecting data, people, and plans across the business. You will participate in all phases of development, collaborate with the product team, work with the designers and QA to deliver high-quality software and performing code review to ensure high-quality deliverables while keeping up to date with the latest technologies and maintaining routine communications with the client. We trust our teams to be creative problem-solvers, take ownership over the technologies used, as well as go beyond deliverables and act as consultants who can communicate with their team members as well as the client.

Your responsibilities:

• An expert in Java at a high level
• Knowledgeable of OOP and RESTfull API.
• Very experienced with Java8, Spring (Core, MVC, SpringBoot, Security).
• Good experience of Relational DB Systems (Oracle, MSSql, MySql, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledgeable of Kubernetes and Chef, Zuul and NginX is beneficial.
• Knowledgeable of various design patterns and architectural patterns such as MVP and MVVM.
• Experienced with build tools such as Maven and/or Gradle.
• Very Quality-oriented from code to product.
• Able to work as part of a diverse and cross-located team as well as independently.
• Able to anticipate problems describe them to the customer and offer practical solutions.
• Experienced working Agile methodologies with a focus on quality and efficiency
• Pro-active and result-oriented
• Able to work independently and offer support to your team
• Eager for technical challenges and creating innovative solutions.
• A fluent English speaker and a good communicator.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent is beneficial
