The solution / You’ll be working on assignments that make a big impact on the future of the client’s business – your work will enhance performance in sea shipping as a source of inspiration for the development of the world’s maritime operations. You’ll be able to take over and independently continue the development of multiple software projects according to precise roadmaps.

What you need to own

• BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent certified education
• Excellent knowledge of Java EE and frameworks: JPA, EJB, JSF, EclipseLink
• Good knowledge of RDBMS: PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server managed in a Liquibase environment
• Comprehension of application servers: Wildfly
• Working experience with Maven, Nexus and SVN frameworks
• Proven knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax
• Hands-on experience with web services SOAP, REST
• Customer-oriented attitude for implementing the project within the requirements
• Fluency in English

What would be nice for you to have

• Knowledge of Android SDK
• Acquainted to the PrimeFaces framework
• Knowledge of NetBeans IDE
• Experience with Linux CentOS distribution
• Familiarity with Agile Development Methodology
• Fluency in Italian

What soft skills would be nice for you to have

• Strong ability to work in a team
• Attitude oriented towards the development and evolution of software products
• Analytical skills
• Ability to follow the life cycle of a project from the understanding of the requirements, to the design, development and release into production
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• A preferred skill would be knowledge of/ vertical experience in the terminals or logistics areas
