Senior mechanical design engineer -CATIA

Main responsibilities:

• Performe milestone plan for mechanical design created,
• Create performance specification including deviations for Development Domain,
• Create Product concept design (components and assembly)
• Define materials of all components,
• Design for manufacturing considered,
• Conduct functional analysis,
• Create list of important and critical functions,
• Concept data  prepared,
• Generate and update Bill Of Material (BOM) for assemblies and subassemblies,
• Check and update patent situation,
• Finalize functional analysis,
• Define special characteristics,
• Done tolerance stack-up analysis,
• Release design data for MSP calculation (DL3 - status 50),
• Update tolerance stack-up analysis,
• Optimize robustness of design,
• Update product design (drawings and 3D),
• Update BOM for assemblies and sub-assemblies,
• Release design data for representative prototypes (DL4 - status 70),
• Update tolerance stack-up analysis,
• Finalized & released product design (drawings and 3D)"
• Design data for series production released  (DL5 - status 50),
• Verify data for series production,
• Product Validation confirmed (PV) ,
• Support gap analysis,
• Put the documents related to the project deliverables in SAP and EasyDMS.

Requirements:

•  5-10 years of experience as mechanical design engineer, 
• Minimum 5 projects as lead CAD Engineer from the quotation phase RFQ to start of production (SOP),
• Detailed knowledge in design and validation of products,
• Communication skills,
• German - mandatory, English - advanced 
• Intercultural abilities, 
• Team player,
• Travel (domestic / international),
• Software knowledge - CATIA V5
