Do you want an amazing and fulfilling career in online marketing? Without the traditional Romanian 'boss' or work environment?
We are a fast growing Romanian-American advertising agency, specialized in online marketing.
Except you won't be hearing about terms like 'SEO' or 'Social Media'.
We only talk about paid media and our client's return on spend.
We already helped our clients generate more than 8 figures in gross revenues the past 6 months alone based on our proven strategies and techniques.
So, what is a media buyer?
A media buyer buys online traffic or eyeballs.
Traffic and eyeballs are the most important part of online marketing. Without the traffic, no one sees the product you are offering.
And now we are looking for a smart, hardworking, motivated media buyer to add to our team.
And yes, we don't care whether you have a background in advertising...
We would love it if you don't have any, because we are going to train you from scratch anyway in the art of 'results-driven advertising'.
We are looking for special talents as well as someone who has the interest and motivation to Excel.
So what does a media buyer do on a day to day basis?
A media buyer is essentially handling 3 jobs.
First job is to seek out new traffic sources. Where to buy traffic, what are the media channels to buy from. You become a strategist, planning on what places to buy from.
Second job is to follow up on these traffic sources and negotiate. Once you find out where you want to buy, relentlessly find a representative there and become friends with him or her. Then get a pricing that works for our client.
Third job is to manage the account. If the ROI isn't working out for the client, you'll need to negotiate with the representative to figure out a win-win. Or if the traffic source needs some new 'advertising creatives', you'll have to get the new creatives from the in-house copywriters and send it their way.
So, what traits/skills should you have?
The ideal candidate will have:
-Great English speaking skills. Ideally, you don't have a Romanian accent;
-Good people's skills, able to make friends easily;
-Good negotiating skills;
-Hard working, not afraid to put in the hours when the job requires it (remember, we are working with the US, so sometimes you may have to check emails or Skype at night, at home);
-Organized because you need to keep track of multiple campaigns and relationships;
-Not afraid of asking questions;
-Motivated learner;
-Great thinker, and able to think his or her way out of a problem.
Got what it takes? Send us a CV and a cover letter.
Your cover letter should help us assess your written English ability.
