Senior NPI engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include tasks concerning launching process, series and projecting for manufacturing field;
• Responsible for coordination, implementation and realization of manufacturing facilities in NPI operation;
• Responsible for SAP master data regarding work planning and work center centralization;

• Responsible for assembly documentation;
• Monitoring, adaptation, development and documentation of the respective work tasks, contents and results;
• Supervision of production start-ups and new technologies (processes) in the course of NPI development and at the production sites;
• Regular exchange of information between supervisors, interface departments and management;
• Rampup of new manufacturing technologies and equipment;
• Cooperation with external development and production resources;
• Purchase of equipment in the Toolshop;
• Provision of work plans for planning and controlling;
• Provision of production documentation for the plants;
• Illustration of the workplace structure for NPI production.

Decision competences:

• Release of production equipment according to budget plan;
• Release of special measures subject to conditions;
• Release of work plans and workplace concepts in the standard process;
• Release of assembly instructions.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree on mechanical or electroctrotechnical, electrical;
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in production fields or automatization;
• English language fluently;
• Desirable skills: MSA, SPC, PFMEA, Capabilities.;
• Lean Experience: 5S, 7 waste, 6 Sigma;
• Additional qualification with regard to REFA and / or MTM;
• Sound methodological competence in the field of development.
