Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Description

• Manage local tactical procurement execution
• Assure continuous improvement of tactical procurement processes
• Optimize tactical procurement activities within his/her area of responsibility
• Understand and fulfill the requirements of the respective stakeholders
• Support the realization of Procurement targets through successful implementation of sourcing strategy
• Active project engagement within country or working groups
• Prepare, negotiate and finalize local agreements in his/her responsible area
• Identify, select, evaluate and approve suppliers in his/her tactical area
• Develop and implement local procurement strategies for the product portfolio assigned to his/her area of responsibility
• Monitor compliance on all procurement related activities to assure that business and ethical standards are consistently maintained
• Compliant with all regulations of the Company

Required

• Proven experience working as a procurement specialist preferably in the medical care area
• Good command of English
• Knowledge of SAP and other procurement systems would be a plus
• Strong knowledge best practice tactical purchasing tools and methods
• Strong negotiating, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
