Responsibilities:
- Leads the implementation of strategic complex projects / programs in line with strategy programs and corporate development based on organizational project management standards, policies and principles.
- Analyzes completed strategic projects in search for continuous improvement of the activities, looks for deviation in implementation from the initial targets or goals to ascertain any differences and advice on adjusting measures.
- Identifies synergies across business units and corporate functions activities, projects or programs in order to design and present to the OMV Petrom Executive Board and business unit leaders best practices in optimizing scope of work for projects / programs, tools and engagement.
- Reviews and / or defines scope of works for strategic projects, manages (consulting services for) strategic projects and ensures alignment with other OMV Petrom / OMV Business Units.
- Participates to the preparation or update the OMV Petrom Strategy, including strategic directions, strategic objectives. Monitors the implementation of the strategy.
- Responsible for the preparation and delivery of all relevant presentations and documentation for OMV Petrom Executive Board / Supervisory Board and all business unit leaders as part of the Strategy & Corporate Development Department for any topics related to strategy and performance management.
- Represents and acts on behalf of the Strategy & Corporate Development Director in meetings, as well as in large development project reviews to ensure the achievement of the goals of the OMV Petrom, if requested.
- Coordinate multiple project teams / programs with more 50 participants under the change and implementation of the strategy of each individual OMV Petrom Divisions and regularly report to OMV Petrom Executive Board on progress, timeline and target achievements.
- Supports the development of all documentation related to programs implementation and department activity. Provides project status reports and action plans.
- Liaises with internal and external partners and contractors.
Requirements:
- University degree required
- PM certification by a widely recognized institution
- Professional educational background in project management
- Any other certification (in finance, controlling, industry) is considered an advantage preferable science or engineering
- English knowledge - advanced level (written & spoken)
- 10+ years of work experience, minimum 10 years in relevant industry
- Minimum 8 years in management consulting/ business consulting/ change management
- Minimum 8 years of project management experience and relevant qualification in industry-standard project management
- Minimum 8 years of experience in managing medium / large projects
- Extensive experience in project / program management for complex and strategic projects / program, ideally with multidisciplinary teams, preferably in international environment
- Good knowledge Specific Project Management Tools (. Clarity)
- Experience in coordinating complex cross functional and parallel project activities, organization and prioritization
- Able to develop complex project management instruments as basis for the control and management of complex, strategic, large projects
- Effectively coach project managers of complex projects, being able to develop project management trainings for all levels and actively contributes to further development of the project management knowledge base and project culture
