Senior QA Automation Engineer

Day to day Responsibilities:

• Good communication skills involving meetings with business partners and interest in creation of data/interface mapping documents, unit tests, code reviews, functional test automation scripts and defect resolution during system integration and user acceptance testing;

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and globally distributed teams;

• Exposure to the financial services industry.

Skills and competencies required:

•  In depth knowledge and experience applying test methodologies that cover unit, regression, exploratory, functional and integration testing

• Experience exercising judgment in selecting methods, tools, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining test results

• Experience driving change and mentoring peer software engineers on test automation practices, tools and techniques. Perform effectively when working in globally distributed teams.

• Experience with test development in Agile environments defining BDD tests

• Strong ability and desire to research defects performing debugging on reported product issues

• Strong C# skills with experience on .NET framework

• Knowledge CI/CD concepts along with practical implementation experience

• Proficiency building web applications and using T SQL queries

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related IT field

• Fluent in written and spoken English

•  Experience: 5 8 years (or more)

Would be a plus:

• Experience with SpecFlow and Selenium

• Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) / Azure DevOps

• Good experience with .NET Core

• Good knowledge of Cloud Computing and some implementation

• Working knowledge of Message Queue Brokers

• Exposure to PowerShell script

• Experience with NON SQL DB (MongoDB)

• Exposure to the financial services industry
