Senior quality engineer

As the Quality Manager the individual will be accountable for heading the Quality department (Quality Engineer, Laboratory technician and Inspectors) and actively support the operation and quality team in meeting the Quality Objectives set. The individual will have experience in external QMS certification audits (example IScreating quality control plans, FMEA, PPAPs, MSA, process mapping/flow, undertaking root cause and corrective action (8D), 5S, continuous improvement and analysis of production data (SPC). 

The Quality Manager shall be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the corrective actions undertaken, provide support for any training the team requires, creation and/or supporting in the creation of procedures, reduction of customer and supplier complaints, internal rejections, quarantined material and cost of quality.

REQUIREMENT: Degree level qualification in Engineering Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality within a technical manufacturing environment. Lead auditor (from experience or training) on ISO 9001 or equivalentExcellent presentation/report, communication, organizational and leadership skills. Able to work with both senior management and operators. Able to work individually or within a team. Fluent in English.

PREFARABLE:

HSE qualification/experience especially Romanian HSE legislation.

Experience in the Automotive or Aerospace industries.

Experience in thermoplastics and/or machining of thermoplastics.

Experience with 6 Sigma/Lean.

Experience in Laboratory testing.

Read and speak Romanian.
