SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for identifying process improvements;

• Support Fixture and Tooling buy offs;

• Validate Engineering Changes Implementation and New Product Introduction;

• Be the primary interface with customers on quality and process improvement issues ;

• Participate in DMR activities;

• Drive Lean Manufacturing principles, Statistical Process Control and DOE;

• Review Quality report and perform trending analysis;

• Provide support and resolving equipment and process problems as they occur on the floor;

• Lead the efforts for Operator training and certification;

Requirements:

• Engineering Degree in Mechanical field;

• Minimum of 3 years in an mechanical manufacturing environment;

• Extensive familiarity with ISO 9000;

• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and background;

• Internal auditor for ISO 9001:2008 is a plus but not mandatory;

• Strong communication and computer skills.
