Orange Services is looking for Senior Planning & Optimization Engineers to join the team.

As a Senior Planning & Optimization Engineer your mission will be to take the technical lead for optimizing mobile networks and proposing necessary solutions for improving the end to end network performances, based on business or operational requirements.

What you will be doing:

• Deliver on a global strategy to improve End to End network (voice and data) quality, define and lead periodic Service Quality improvement plans;
• Optimize current parameter and features deployed on Network to cope with network changes so as to improve overall network performance, and define parameter settings to enable new features improving quality or capacity. Perform regular features parameter audit;
• Implement guidelines and check KPIs to assess Quality of Experience and Service and ensure follow-up of the KPIs;
• Lead the definition of the KPI dashboard to answer business needs (Service Level Agreements, Forecasts, targets, etc.);
• Investigate all national network quality issues (raised by dashboard, benchmark campaigns…) and ensure their resolution;
• Evaluate and make recommendations for the future considering the technical evolutions on the market;
• Lead implementation projects and coordinate (and coach if necessary) a core team for the solution or evolution implementation;
• Lead the Radio Access Network and support other network domains capacity forecasts.

What you know and will be working with:

• 2G GSM / 3G UMTS / 4G LTE Radio Optimization (5G is a plus);
• RAN planning experience (Asset, Atoll, U-net, ibWave, etc);
• Indoor planning experience (DAS, repeaters, femtocells) ;
• Network Parameters Tuning;
• Drive Test post-processing (Actix, Tems, etc.);
• Capacity Management;
• GIS Analysis and reporting (MapInfo, QGIS, etc.);
• KPI's reporting, troubleshooting (PRS, etc.);
• Network Performance- End to End Optimization
• RAN (2G, 3G, 4G, SIP) protocols, trace collection and analysis;
• Packet Service/Circuit Service Core Network/ EPC (Evolved Packet Core) protocols, trace collection and analysis;
• Knowledge of Huawei Equipment is a must, multi-vendor experience is preferred;
• Developer or SQL skills is a plus.

What you need to have:

• Engineering degree in telecommunication with knowledge of Networks, Telecommunications, IT environment and IP protocols;
• Minimum experience: 5 years in Telecom;
• Proactiveness;     
• Project Management skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Languages: English, French is a plus.
