Primary Purpose Of Roles
- Reporting directly to the RPA coordinator, this position will help identify, coordinate and implement improvement initiatives mainly focused on automation, but not limited to RPA, for EMEA processes (centralized in GBS or outside of GBS). In doing so, they will be expected to consult and coordinate a broad range of stakeholders, including internal GBS management, global/regional IT, local country leadership,3rd party providers and other global/regional process owners.
- Provide training and coaching/mentoring session to automation/RPA enthusiasts.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert of automation/RPA in liaison with other groups. Clarify and document new process automation requirements and design and implement solutions, as well as support and monitor productive automations supporting and enabling processes
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the execution/development of complex high-risk RPA solutions in compliance with "best practice” delivery standards.
- Mentor RPA early adopters and support successful delivery solutions across all functions
- Conduct current state assessments - identify automation opportunities, define RPA value proposition, reengineer process to improve automation potential and define the target state solution approach
- Actively promotes the benefits of standardization, automation and innovation initiatives with stakeholders
- Develop business requirements for the implementation of future state automation capabilities
- Make sure all solutions delivered are reviewed for risks with the appropriate Internal control/Internal audit teams and that the all special roles/ system accesses are restricted and are granted only as needed without generating compliance or additional risks to the process/company
- Work directly with the internal/external developers to ensure delivery and implementation of automaton solutions as per agreed planning
- Ensure that full communication and change management plans are in place and executed for all initiatives. This includes ensuring correct training, both in GBS and in the local businesses is carried out.
Experience & Skills
- Project management experience
- Process design / continuous improvement experience
- RPA advance developer skills
- Experience of identifying and implementing process and/or technology changes within a relevant workstream environment to improve efficiency or quality
- In-depth and demonstrable knowledge of their specific workstream process
- Lean Six Sigma trained
- Project Management trained
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in a relevant workstream environment out of which 2 in developing RPA solutions
- Strong project and change management skills, familiarity with project management approaches and tools required
- Strong communication skills with all levels of internal stakeholders and ability to influence others towards a common goal required
- Active listening skills and ability to manage upwards and negotiate between conflicting stakeholders
