The Impact You Will Make:

As a Senior Engineer at Grubhub, you'll design and build scalable BE infrastructure for our ordering system and user-friendly platforms affecting the experience of tens of millions of customers. If you want to solve interesting engineering problems and build highly-scalable systems, Grubhub is the perfect place for you.

We are looking for an experienced engineer that can build a product end to end, likes working with product teams, understands their needs, and has an impact on the design and execution of products.

What You Bring to the Table

• At least 4 years of development experience.
• Experience building highly-scalable consumer-facing applications (e-commerce preferred).
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with Python - an advantage.
• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure (AWS is an advantage)
• Distributed database experience with Cassandra/MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience in frontend development (React.js) - an advantage
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, KV stores (Redis, MongoDB).
