Senior system administrator

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and monitor client’s infrastructure: servers, network equipment, security devices, DMZ
• Install, upgrade and configure new equipment in client’s datacenter apply security policies and client’s requirements (patching, configuration changes, logs, performance tuning, certificates, scripts)
• Perform backup and restore of data, applications, servers, network equipment
• Implement security configurations in the infrastructure
• Keep track of equipment, life cycle and licenses
• Keep track of all configuration of infrastructure
• Keep track of incidents and propose corrective measures.
• Collaborate with colleagues from IT department in order to find optimal solutions
• Inform in time technical stakeholders about all changes and incidents in the client’s infrastructure.

Technical background and expertise:

• Servers: Windows Server, Windows Server Datacenter, clusters: advanced level
  • Linux Server: medium level
• Virtualization: Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware: advanced level
• Network and firewall: Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint: medium level
  • • • proxy, reverse proxy, DNS, VPN, DHCP: advanced level
      • LAN and WAN architecture: medium level
• Backup solution: Veeam: advanced level
• Cloud operations: Azure or/and GCP: medium level
• Working with hybrid architecture: on-premise – Cloud: medium level
