Introduction

The Senior System Engineer is responsible for debugging and pre-analyzing Performance Defects occurring in the system during the development lifecycle. In addition, he is in charge of Analysis, Implementation & Verification of Resource Management SW Configuration based on the design from SW Architecture. He is doing KPI pass / fail criteria analysis in cooperation with SW Domains and KPI TraceMarker verification.

Your tasks & responsibilities

We’re looking for someone who owns it and takes it to the next level not just someone that wants a job.

C/C++ and shell programming - You will review the SW code and design concepts and apply state-of-the-art methods to ensure and optimize SW quality. Python knowledge is also beneficial.

Trace & Debugging tools & architecture – You will validate the Performance specific Trace & Debug architecture & tools.

Linux Kernel & User Space SW Performance – You will carry out analysis according to the Performance Backlog and allocate analyzed Performance Errors under valid SW domain for bug fixing.

Your skills

As an ideal candidate you have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or other relevant (IT related) specialization along with solid knowledge of Trace & Debugging tools & architecture and C/C++ knowledge.

Still, if you have at least 5 years of experience in software development with focus on embedded Linux systems, we will help you figure out the rest!
