Senior System Engineer (Scala, Java, Typescript)

The project

The project is responsible for the continued development, improvement and maintenance of the product SitaWare Headquarters. This product is deployed and running on a number of installations around the world. We have the responsibility to improve and maintain this product to continue being the best product on the market. New releases are shipped every half year including new capabilities, bug fixes and other improvements.

Major technologies:

Practical experience writing maintainable Java, TypeScript, AngularJS or Scala code

Technology stack:

• Scala, ScalaTest

• Java technology (JEE WildFly, JPA/Hibernate, JAX-RS, JCR/JackRabbit, JUnit, Mockito)
• REST services
• Tools( Jira, Git, IntelliJ, Continuous Integration (Teamcity), ScalaStyle, PMD, TS-Lint)
• Web technologies: AngularJS, Bootstrap, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3/SCSS, HTML5, Selenium, Jasmine, Karma
• Other technologies: Gradle, npm, SQL Server
• Methodology (Scrum, Kanban, TDD)
• CI, CD

• Video feed feature where we display what drones captures
• Real time unit tracking for Navy
• Organizational Cluster using Cloud
• Application Modulization both Server and Client side

Advantage:

• Practical experience working on large scale web-projects with focus on writing reusable components
• Experience in writing automatic tests for frontend functionality
