Job Description:
Senior Technical Lead holds the responsibilities related to the overall success of United Safety’s Technical Service line project implementations. This includes supporting projects with new and existing United Safety customers on their ongoing site or as per maintenance project requests. Responsibilities include working with United Safety’s full suite of Technical Services lines known as the TeQ Shield. The TeQ Shield Service Suite includes:
- TeQ Shield Guardian (Remote Confined Space Monitoring System)
- TeQ Shield Tracker (RTLS – Real-Time Location Service)
- TeQ Shield GAMS – (Asset Management and Distribution system)
- TeQ Shield Reporting and Analytics
A combination of advanced networking, hardware, and software skills using external and in-house software applications (Business Systems), Hardware Management, Server OS, Database configuration, WiFi Controller Management, IT Security software, Cloud services, and Reporting tools are required.
Serve as a Technical service lead to liaise with the clients for the needs assessment, system planning, solution designing, architecture planning, and implementation of the various technical services offered by United Safety.
Act as a lead project stakeholder for project planning and sizing, budgeting, procurements, and lead the project execution in Turnaround, Onshore, and Offshore projects as well as overall coordination with the technical services team.
Support the business development activity of the Technical Services Product lines with customer presentations, pilots, trade shows, and other marketing events.
Enjoy physical work and be comfortable being away from home for long periods of time in a hotel or camp situation.
QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, (Electronics and Electrical Eng),
MUST HAVE:
- Willing to travel and work regionally and internationally; both on the site/field and office environment;
- Fluent in English;
- Advanced IP networking skills, TCP/IP protocols, 4G Configuration, and VPN tunneling;
- Genetec Operations
- Experience: 6-8 years;
- Field experience in an oil/gas or construction industry is an asset
