Senior Technical Writer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer, with at least 5 years of experience in writing documentation and technical presentations, to be part of our team. We believe that the involvement of each team member translates into streamlined activities and good results. 

You should know that we are the company that developed the first integrated system for the energy and natural gas markets in Romania. This means the most complex suite of applications for the management of supply, trading, distribution, and production of electricity and natural gas. We differentiate ourselves by the fact that we understand very well the market on which we operate and we are, at this moment, a reference name in the field of energy and natural gas through our software applications.

If you come to us, you will take care of the following:

• to communicate with product/project managers to gather information on the functionalities of the platforms;
• to interview product developers and product/project managers to understand in-depth the characteristics and functionalities of the platforms;
• to permanently follow and remedy the existing documentation defects in the documentation and update the documentation;
• to develop/write technical content, in English, of high quality, clear, complete and correct regarding the functionalities of the platforms;
• to make technical documentation and to periodically inform the clients regarding the existing novelties in the platforms;
• to plan, elaborate, organize, edit technical guidelines/instructions, operational procedures and internal and external technical manuals;
• to identify the needs of users regarding technical documentation;
• gather user feedback to update and improve content;
• work with the development team and product managers to make products easier to use;
• use interactive technologies to combine text, graphics, images, sound, and video.

We would be glad to know that you:

• have a very good level of English, spoken and written
• have technical experience in writing software (5+ years)
• are able and understand and progress with incomplete information
• are attentive to details, personal organization and time management skills
• have good communication skills and transposition into various technical means of communication
• have analytical thinking and you have good communication and writing skills
