Responsibilities:
- Get involved in Manufacturing Engineering tasks from gate 2 until EOP (End of Production)
- Attend and support production trials (IPT, MPT, EMPT)
- Participate to EPU (Eberspächer Production Unit) daily production meetings and follow defined ME actions to improve production KPIs
- Participate to line QPS meetings and implement/manage ME related topics
- Prepare and analyze ME Downtime & present
- Overtake responsibility for ECM process from Gate 5 to ensure successful changes
- Manage and Monitor ECM Budget
- Manage tooling & equipment changes in series production (based on scrap, downtime, QPS or CIP activities)
- Train line operators in case of EC (Engineering Changes)
- Create, change and adjust tool change instructions to ensure line operators can change over consistently and quickly (SMED)
- Create, change and adjust work instructions in CAMOS as well as BOMs and routings in SAP
- Assist maintenance in critical spare part management and in defining preventive maintenance actions
- Manage relocation of equipment / mass production lines and production transfer
- Collaborate with CIP team and manage line ideas (suggestions for improvement)
- Prepare PPAP parts for quality department
- Implement open ME items from Program ME after handover (gate 5)
- Handover to aftermarket at EOP
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment represents an advantage
- Graduation of technical university is a must (preferably diploma Engineer)
- Good knowledge of English is a must; French and/or German an advantage
- Previous contact with budget planning, capacity planning, technical specifications for equipment, Autocad/layout, PFMEA, traceability represents an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point) represents an advantage
- Ability to work in a team and to collaborate efficiently with colleagues, production people and management is a must
