Server Administrator in Data Center

Job Location: Galati, Jud. Galati

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Server Admin for hands & feet services in Data Center (. Server racking / movement / install / patching / disk / memory replacement / decommission)
• Working knowledge of N/W
• Basic troubleshooting skills for PC & Audio Visual devices
• System Administration knowledge and experience for various versions of Linux and Windows  
  • DemoDepot, NUCs. Mainly Ubuntu. Adding Clear Linux recently. Using Deploy Commander.
  • OS Installs/Updates/ITERP remediation. (Enabling and supporting virtualization solutions in labs at both hypervisor and VMs level)
  • Debugging, Resolving Network related issues. Support continuous validation infrastructure.
  • Standard and Restricted Subnets
  • Capacity Management
  • H/W Support (Install, Move, De-commission)
• Knowledge and working experience with AD, DNS, DHCP, VNC, NIS/LDAP, SSH. Solid TCP/IP knowledge and with the ability to troubleshoot system network connectivity related issues. Working knowledge of networking and firewalls.
• Working knowledge of  PC Support (. initial break fix, maintain and provide loaners, coordinate repair/replacement shipments).
• Basic printer support
• Fluent in English: effective verbal and written communication.

IT Experience

•     3-5 years of hands on experience

Others –

• Flexible to support off hours  / weekends (as and when required)
• Physically present in the data center (no work from home option) during Prime Business Hours
