SMT PROTOTYPING ENGINEER

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the SMT process (printing, placement, reflow oven);
• Fully understand product specification;
• Run DFM, DFA analysis for the product in discussion;
• Understand key product characteristics;
• Fully understand process requirements for the project;
• Define key process characteristics, define and understand the link between them and the key product characteristics;
• Participate in the PFMEA activities, input PFMEA;
• Participate and give feedback in the design reviews meetings, phase reviews meetings, feasibility assessments;
• Define the process validation plan (Cp, Cpk studies, together with the PE, QE and customer), execute the process validation activity, define and implement corrective actions if necessarily;
• Provide inputs for pre / post-build reports when necessary.

Desired profile

• Technical University degree (Electronics, Mechanics, Automatics);
• Solid knowledge of the following processes for SMT (printing, placement, reflow oven);
• + 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing;
• Excellent logical thinking;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Mature manner of tackling a problem/ special situation;
• English advanced level.
