ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The role is responsible to support the design, development, execution and governance of SNO (Supply Network Operations) reporting process, tools, metrics and operating model to enable our digital transformation; to deliver a business that is simpler, stronger, faster and significantly more automated and integrated. Reporting, insights and analytics must be delivered on time, to aligned business requirements and at optimised cost.
The role will build and continuously improve SNO’s reporting tools, processes based on business priorities while ensuring the R&I strategy resolutely aligns to our SNO and broader enterprise requirements for standardisation, digital (online) data and systems management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Manage the pipeline of Reporting & Insights requirements strictly via the SNO agile principles and process framework.
- Using BAT approved software/applications to design, build and maintain new reporting requirements classified as low complexity.
- Collaborate with the SNO Transformation Digital Data Analyst to support new reporting and insights/ analytics requirements classified as intermediate (medium) complexity.
- Develop analytical tools for the Reporting Leads and Execs to enable them to support business teams by providing insights and analysis from standard reports.
- Apply continuous improvement , work on reporting process optimization and automation, eliminating losses in the process.
- Support growth of team capabilities in best practices
- Ensure the full scope of R&I work processes are documented as standard work packages (SWP) and accompanied by rigorously maintained user manuals, training guides, technical specification documents etc – for all reports and tools, owned and / or managed by the SNO R&I team.
- Analyse SNO reporting demand and requirement. Deliver continuous improvement insights and opportunities to SNO management to an aligned frequency (simplification, automation and capability requirements)
- Represent SNO R&I team in business forums and projects related to reporting workstreams and initiatives. Deputise for the SNO R&I Manager when required.
- Work with digital data and systems solutions delivery teams/suppliers on the design, build, test and deployment of reporting development and automation requirements.
- Maintain and improve effective and efficient customer relationships with all business functions and partners.
- Collaborate with business Super Users (SU) on the design, build and documentation of insights/analytics visualisation tools. Train SUs to enable subsequent on-training and adoption across the business teams via the SU community.
- Deliver reliable and effective R&I capability to SNO stakeholders to meet agreed expectations within relevant SLA targets (cost, quality, timeliness)
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a FMCG company, including reporting and insights leadership experience
- Proficiency in information and digital platforms (examples: Power BiSAP, APO, Kinaxis Rapid Response, Clear Metal, workflow tools, Business Information (Power BI) etc)
- Advanced digital data skills in descriptive / predictive analytics plus reporting and visualisation techniques
- Proficiency in common reporting, analytical and visualisation tools (examples: SQL, Dataiku and Alteryx)
- Advanced user skills on MS Office analytical tool (example: Excel macro coding)
- Advanced experience of best practice information management, analysis, and reporting in a regulated environment, including knowledge of systems and tools.
- Experience in maintaining/editing dashboards for management reporting
- Advanced level data literacy. Understands the fundamentals of data management, the enterprise data platform (data lake) and how to harness these for business insight and data-driven decision making.
- Business agility attitude and competent in agile frameworks
- A clear understanding on the governing principles and challenges that can arise in business process standardisation, automation and cross functional alignments
- Rational, logical thinking – able to prioritise and deliver multiple concurrent workstreams. Able to work with and manage ambiguity.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, fluent in English (verbal/written) and proven influencing skills: broad partner engagement capability covering both internal customers and external service partners.

- Preferably, experience of working with supply chain processes, business data and reporting requirements
- At least 1 year Software engineering experience essential.
