Software Architecture Engineer
The software architect is responsible for developing a software architecture, create or support a software safety concept and conduct or support software component qualifications according to the BU requirements. He shall identify the reuse in application projects as well as support platform developments with their architectural competence. Activities which combine analytical and design knowledge with software and hardware technology, in the sense of designing, testing, implementation & modification of informatic systems which contain as main component software.
Here`s how a day of work might look like:
* Planning and development of a software architecture, which:
** Satisfies the software requirements in line with the system architecture, considering the constraints of the hardware and existing generic architectures (. SW Platform) functional safety and security;
** Is documented by semi-formal notation;
** Meets quality, functional safety and cost targets;
** Adheres to the software architecture guidelines;
** Makes full use of existing software architecture framework documents.
Decomposition of the software in a way to facilitate:
** Optimized use of available resources;
** The assignment of responsibilities and split of work packages;
** An efficient integration sequence;
** Optimized reuse;
** Management and handling of variants.
* Definition of the dynamic behavior (. task distribution with special emphasis to ECU operation modes (. power modes);
* Ensure consistency and bilateral traceability between software requirements and software architectural design
* Communication of the concept within the team and all affected parties and active collection of feedback as basis to improve the concept.

* Excellent knowledge of Software Architecture process and method;

* Good knowledge of security process and methods;
* Good language skills (English – required);
