Role Specifications
As a Software Asset Management Analyst you will be involved in the management of software acquisition, compliance, maintenance renewals, lifecycle planning and costing. The Software Asset Management Analyst has the responsibility to monitors ongoing processes, provides data, and communicates project status and assigned deliverables to appropriate team members/stakeholders in order to meet deadlines and maintain relationships on a daily basis. She / He is the key link in communication with our customers for license and catalog products questions. The individual works closely with our ordering department to ensure that every order is processed and delivered on time. A strong business acumen, basic accounting skills and the ability to reason through ever changing scenarios are necessities for this position. Taking the initiative, strong math skills, and the ability to anticipate problems before they happen are also essential for success in this position. The candidate must work well with a team of people who are committed to continuing the company's high growth rate
Specifically, you will:
- Facilitate the business’ needs for ongoing technical support and upgrade protection on selected products by ensuring that maintenance, support and upgrade protection renewals are managed/handled/ordered in advance of their expiration.
- Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services. Follow through with vendors and Infosys to obtain identified savings.
- Manage contracts and relationships to maximize value creation and costs for software licensing, maintenance, and service offerings.
- Collect information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
- Enter and maintain information in a database format to address budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contracts, and cost. Assist in the development of reporting to address management requirements to obtain information.
- Communicate through email, individual interview, group meetings, and presentations to end users, management, developers, and vendors.
- Respond to requests from end users, managers, developers, and team members for specific IT Software Asset Management data information.
- Create and maintain software catalog products
- Obtain cost approval from the client
- Implement changes in the catalog
- Create weekly and daily reports

- Project management skills in order to organize and implement business process solutions; ability to track and document project deliverables
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Knowledge of ITAM processes.
- Understanding of Financial Markets, company structures and detail-oriented. Basic computer knowledge is mandatory, such as Microsoft Office
- Good working knowledge of computer systems.
- Reliable and able to work under pressure

- Experience in BPO and License Management is an advantage
