At the heart of this sits our Global Operations team which works closely with cross-functional stakeholders to support many critical aspects of the Oracle for Startups program. Our team utilise NetSuite at the heart of operations. Our NetSuite platform has several integrations with Eloqua, OracleIntegration Cloud (OIC) and our own custom internal platforms which require development and maintenance in additional to ongoing requirements for customisation to our current configuration.
The Oracle for Startups team relies heavily on our utilization of NetSuite which enables us to be organized, efficient, and pragmatic in the way we interact with our startups, partners, and organize ourteam internally.
We are looking for someone to join our team with experience in NetSuite to support our configuration, customisation and growth ambitions.
Your primary objectives and responsibilities will be:
NetSuite configuration and implementation (40%):
• Proactively design, implement and maintain NetSuite systems improvements, configurations and customisations utilising features such as the design and implementation of complex workflows and saved searches to satisfy the needs of the business.
• Development of custom scripts that enable functionality and scale against our evolving business requirements.
• Leading solution design and technical implementation against a rigorous product testing life cycle.
• Support with clarifying user requirements and translating business needs into actionable configurations in NetSuite.
• Write detailed functional specifications for development of custom features, execute detailed testing and provide post go-live support.
• Take an active role in the continuous improvement of our implementation methodology.
• Maintain personal knowledge base in the NetSuite ecosystem to help the business and Operations team evaluate and pilot additional tools, processes and third-party integrations.
Integrations development and maintenance (35%):
• Responsibility for the design, scope and end-to-end implementation for platform integrations,custom plugins and scripts between NetSuite and any third-party platform (. Oracle Eloqua).
• Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain integration scripts within Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) serving as a conduit between our NetSuite and Eloqua instances.
• Develop and maintain integration scripts and API calls to ensure efficient bi-lateral data flows with our internal applications (built on Oracle JET).
• Troubleshoot and provide hands on guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Implement APIs and microservices with knowledge of Java and JavaScript frameworks.
• Contribute to the project and road map planning of the enhancement and development of both new and current integrations. Development of our functional capabilities working closely with our NetSuite administrator and wider stakeholders.
• Responsible for development and maintenance of functional, design and technical documentation.
• Main liaison between our team and developers in Eloqua, NetSuite, Oracle Integration Cloud and any future third-party platforms or services.
Technical support (25%):
• Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support to team NetSuite users.
• Ensure seamless functionality of custom scripts in NetSuite and proactively offer suggestions for improvements.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform basic debugging on scripts where needed.
• Act as the main liaison with NetSuite Customer Support and ACS (Advanced Customer Services) on technical issues.
Core skills and experience required:
• 3+ years’ hands-on functional NetSuite configuration and implementation experience, or 5+ years’experience in ERP administration, development, configuration and third-party integrations.
• Intermediate to advanced capabilities on SuiteScript , Suitelets, RESTlets, user events,scheduled scripts and web-based services.
• Demonstrable experience in cloud-based integrations at an enterprise level.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware PaaS platform.
• Working knowledge of SQL, CSV imports, advanced saved searches, user provisioning, definingroles, and scripts debugging.
• Experience of full software delivery lifecycle including capturing business requirements,developing solutions, user testing and training, post go-live support and optimisation.
• Experience of successful plugin integrations between third-party applications and NetSuite.
• Familiarity with REST (HTTP, JSON, URL, XML) and SOAP (HTTP, XML) based frameworks for APIintegrations, Javascript, Oracle SQL, HTML, CSS.
• Ability to translate and effectively present technical concepts to a non-technical audience in bothone-on-one and group situations.
• Demonstrates proactivity and comfort with working in an often-ambiguous environment.
• Bias towards action, team player, and problem-solver.
• Good command of the English language, both oral and written.
• Ability to work across UK and US time-zones with cross-functional teams.
Desirable skills and knowledge:
• NetSuite certifications are desirable.
• Understanding and knowledge in maintaining source code repositories and reducing data redundancy.
• Familiarity with the Suite Success Developer Network (SDN).
