 With experience in Software Development Experience using Python, Kafka and Elastic Search.

 We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Software Developer (Open Source) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Dublin, Ireland. The work will be carried out on site at customer premises. In the context of this assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

 Your tasks:

• Software development to support the development/enhancement and data processing services;
• Supporting the technical process from system design through to testing and deployment;
• Provide technical communications to development/support staff;
• Writing and updating technical documentation and presenting technical concepts to stakeholders at multiple levels.

 Your skills:

• Bachelor degree or higher in computer science or IT-related discipline;
• Minimum 7 years of Software Development Experience;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in development of data processing services using Python, Apache Kafka message queues, Elastic Search data stores or equivalent;
• Experience with MQTT and GraphQL APIs or equivalent;
• Experience with Data visualisations using JavaScript libraries such as D3 or equivalent;
• Experience of software development processes from system design through to testing and deployment;
• Experience of writing technical documentation and of presenting technical concepts to stakeholders at multiple levels;
• Ability to integrate in an international environment and to cooperate well in a team;
• Excellent command of English language.
