Software Development Engineer-Sibiu_R&D_BU VED EBS

Here`s how a day of work might look like:

* You will develop software for embedded systems, especially for microcontrollers and electronic control units;
* Analyze and understand software requirements;
* Design the software architecture;
* Implement, test and validate the software on the real hardware;
* Perform measurements and assess the results of the measurements.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

* You have a university degree in Computers, Information Technology, Automation or other relevant field;
* You have knowledge in microcontrollers, embedded systems and electronic circuit theory;
* You have a good level of English.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

* You have experience in programming in ANSI C (Embedded C) or other fields;

Continental Sibiu:

Continental Sibiu annually manufactures approximately33 million electronic control units. The products developed, tested and manufactured in Sibiu include intelligent braking systems, driving assist systems or acceleration pedals that limit the speed in case an obstacle is detected. In present, Continental Sibiu has approximately4,5K employees. Together, they combine their knowledge in software and hardware development, design and simulation experience, innovation in artificial intelligence, big data and production processes. Half of the Continental Sibiu employees work on the production line.
