Software Development Engineer (Embedded)_SB_R&D_VNI CE (21 positions)

A software development engineer will be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing, developing, integrating and verifying software functionalities in a real-time embedded environment, for various electronic control units (Seat Control Modules, Gateway Modules).
You use established processes, methods and tools, while becoming an active participant in interdisciplinary, multi¬ location teams for a business unit with mature technologies, know-how and a strong focus on quality.

Check out your future responsibilities below:

• Develop software for current and future automotive control systems. Interact with the customer in order to collect, analyze and refine requirement;
• Identify and interact with stakeholders for software inside project team;
• Contribute to collecting functional and non-functional software (component) requirements;
• Responsible for Requirements Change Management;
• Design the software architecture;
• Decompose high level and customer requirements into functional requirements for software developers and software testers;
• Ensure technical support to software project manager.

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Excellent knowledge of embedded software development;
• Excellent knowledge of software development tools and software development processes;
• Good knowledge of C programming language;
• Good knowledge of microcontroller technology;
• Good language skills (English – required);
• Basic knowledge in Electrical Engineering or in Software Engineering or similar;
• Automotive embedded SW experience represents an advantage.
