Software Frontend Developer (Angular)_Sibiu_Plant_IE(4 positions)

Our mission is the development of big data and artificial intelligence solutions that support the optimization of the shopfloor- efficiency at all the automotive plants of Continental worldwide.

• Development of web applications with Angular(2+);
• Working with cloud based infrastructure;
• Support in the architecture of the web application (Module-/Component-Design);
• Design of user interfaces and user experience;
• Deployment & Operations (DevOps).
  
  

Job Requirements

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelors/masters degree in Media Informatics, Business Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent experience in frontend development
• 3+ years of experience in Software Development and an agile mindset
• Excellent coding skills in a state-of-the-art JavaScript frontend framework (Angular, React, VueJS,...) as well as HTML, CSS, JavaScript und TypeScript
• Good communication skills in english
• Knowledge of agile methods
• Fun with modern technology
• Willingness to travel
  
  Desirable Skills/Qualifications
• Coding skills in a object oriented language is an advantage
• Experience in test driven development/unit testing and software architecture
• Experience in Git, DevOps and CI/CD

  Continental Sibiu annually manufactures approximately 33 million electronic control units. The products developed, tested and manufactured in Sibiu include intelligent braking systems, driving assist systems or acceleration pedals that limit the speed in case an obstacle is detected. In present, Continental Sibiu has approximately 4500 employees.
