Software Integration Engineer (ESB)

Role      

You will work within Stefanini in a dedicated team together with Client's team, managing and further developing the integration of their very complex, world spread, architectural landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and document ESB integrations (using Mulesoft) to requirements following standards and processes;
• Develop integrations and APIs using enterprise integration patterns and frameworks;
• Develop HTTP APIs, RESTful web services and programming skills using J2EE design patterns, JMS, and SOAP/REST web services;
• Contribute in a collaborative and fast paced environment;
• Work in a highly regulated environment;
• Understand integration technologies and practices as well as the business acumen to develop overarching system designs;
• Working with the broader business, including QA and Product teams, in a professional and adaptable manner, to ensure the completion of projects in line with customer and business expectations.

Strong understanding of:

• SQL, NoSQL and database access protocols such as ODBC, JDBC, SQL;
• Java Messaging Services (JMS), MQ (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBMMQ);
• Web services - REST (with RAML or JSON/XML), ODATA, SOAP (with WSDL);
• Security - as a user of LDAP, Active Directory, OAuth2 (Okta) and SAML;
• Software engineering best practices including, but not limited to CI/CD (Jenkins, Maven etc.), automated unit testing, DevOps, Load Balancers, Caching and Databases.

Previous experience with:

• Designing RESTful-API / WebService with UML : ERM, SequenceDiagram;
• Development on Linux/Unix, including skills in scripting languages;
• Application development and design using any of Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JAX-RS, Jersey, Eclipse, .Net, and Visual Studio;
• Application integration technologies: ESB solutions, ETLs, flows, message modelling, Routing, Filtering, Database, Exception Handling, API Management;
• Version control (Git, TFS, Subversion etc.);
• A background in computer science and software engineering;
• Advanced problem-solving capabilities;
• Comfortable working as part of an Agile team, in a collaborative environment where sharing of ideas and working together is encouraged.
