Software Marketing Specialist

Job description

The main responsibility of the job will be to promote the company's products (WordPress themes and plugins). This will include managing our websites and blog, creating partnerships and cross-promotions, managing our affiliate program, growing our email marketing lists and sending email campaigns regularly and other actions that can help grow our exposure. The job may also involve running some PPC campaigns.

Requirements

- good undestanding of marketing and particularly software marketing

- ability to write good copy that hooks customers

- ability to manage small projects (for example work with a designer, a developer and a tester to make some changes on a website or send a newsletter)

- good communication skills and ability to create relationships with potential partners 

- attention to details and ability to see things form the customer's point of view

- very good english knowledge is a must

- know stuff about the web (and like it)

- basic knowledge of web design/development (some HTML/CSS)

- a growth hacker mindset - set out on trying lots of things and elaborating on those that work

Nice to have

- web technology knowledge (it would be great if you created a website before)

- familiarity with the WordPress market 

- some technical WordPress knowledge
