Software QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Implement automation test solutions based on project needs
• Collaborate daily on a distributed, cross functional agile team
• Develop test strategies for new projects
• Mentor junior team members

Required skills and experience:

• Designing test plans and processes for new and existing products
• Testing web and hybrid applications
• Using Javascript, Python, PHP, Ruby, C# or other comparable languages (multiple languages preferred)
• Working with JIRA or similar bug tracking system
• Working in Scrum environments
• Passion for analysis

Highly qualified candidates will have:

• Concise written and verbal communication skills for documenting bugs and test plans
• Familiarity with database systems
• Experience with API testing
