SOFTWARE SUPPORT ENGINEER

Ikon Soft, Cluj-Napoca founded in, is a full-cycle software development company. Most of the clients are international, mainly from the USA and EU.

We are looking for value-adding Software Support Engineer – middle/senior level.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 3 years experience

• Familiarity with various operating systems, such as Linux

• Knowledgeable about programming languages (PHP and/or JS Frameworks will be a plus) and SQL databases

• To hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related area

• Advanced debugging tools knowledge

• Available to work in evening/night shifts (14:00 – 23:00 hrs).

Job Responsibilities:

• You will serve primarily to address technical issues relating to software implementation, function and upgrades

• You will resolve customer complaints or problems and create product problem reports and troubleshooting documents for each issue

• You work closely with software engineers and development teams to identify and resolve any technical problems that might arise during the development of software

• You will analyze all aspects of the software and make suggestions throughout the development phase to help avoid issues in the final product

• You will also be involved in developing and leading training classes to educate customers about software products.
