Software Tester

Recognos Romania is looking to add a Software Tester to its team in Cluj-Napoca.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze software requirements, obtain clarifications where needed, acquire a complete and detailed understanding of the software logic
• Understand the testing approach, methodology, types of testing (including functional, regression testing)
• Create/develop detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios, plans, and test cases
• Execute test cases, identify non-conformities, and document them according to agreed processes in issue tracking systems, check fixes when available
• Deliver concise, descriptive, easy to understand test reports (test data, coverage, test results, etc.)

Required Skills:
• 3 - 5 years of experience in the field of Software testing / QA
• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• High attention to details and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good written and spoken communication skills, both in Romanian and English

Desired Skills / Would be a plus:
• Basic knowledge of: HTML, CSS, scripting or programming languages (C#, JavaScript, Python, other), writing SQL queries
• Knowledge of automation testing tools and methodologies
