certSIGN is looking to add a Mobile Software Tester to its team in Bucharest.
General requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in progress or completed in a technical field
- Knowledge of the testing tools needed to test different types of software applications (web-based, server-type applications, database-embedding applications, mobile applications)
- Thorough knowledge of Linux and Windows, Android, iOS and operating systems
- Knowledge of HTTP, HTTPS, SSL protocols
- Knowledge of XML, MIME, S /MIME standards
- Knowledge required to develop scripts and/or test software for applications and software modules on Windows, Android, iOS platforms
- Knowledge of the technical and commercial specifications of the developed products (optional)
- Oral and written communication skills, teamwork
- English proficiency: medium level
- Very good ability to communicate and interact with customers.
Nice to have:
- Cryptography and PKI knowledge
- XML, XSLT, Web Services knowledge
- Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies
- Knowing the market requirements for mobile applications
- Knowledge of a ticketing platform for technical support.
Daily responsibilities:
- Test software applications according to test plans or ad-hoc (mobile or mobile software area affiliated) and report identified errors
- Defines test cases (QA checklist) according to the test strategy and maturity level of the tested applications
- Writes documents reflecting future implementations for the developed product thus providing new ideas for the developed product’s roadmap
- Provides support and contributes with ideas for future developments and implementations in the product development process
- Provides support to sales and marketing departments
- Writes the documents with the application specifications, the test documentation, the changes that have occurred following the development process and the documents that provide customer support
- Report bugs and software defects (bugs) in bug tracking systems
- Participation in internal development and implementation meetings
- Solves tickets submitted by clients and allocated to him in regard to technical support for UEM implementations
- Ensures the minimum response time for the submitted tickets
- Provides the possibility to solve remote technical problems
- Allocates problems that cannot be solved remotely to the responsible or relevant department
