Responsible as Technical Lead for IT team capability to manage any incoming demand for IT services, stability and performance of its, as well for services and support from his/her area, provided by Production & Well Engineering Services department to its regional - company's customers in time and quality. At the same time, supports and proposes changes and improvements to the Department Manager, Project Managers and Service Managers in regard of projects and service maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive implementation& optimization of IT Applications services following the department's landscape rules and direction in regard of hydrocarbon accounting and production engineering applications portfolio
  • Analysis and design activities in line with International Operations Center Upstream Applications ( IOC UA) internal processes and framework
  • Propose towards the management new services/approaches in line with IOC UA strategy, for improving the effectiveness and efficiency with IOC UA team
  • Constantly evaluate the current processes/framework/activities and propose to IOC UA management ways to improve it
  • Maintains complex (multi-discipline/x-functional) A&A Expert specific tasks according to defined SLAs + OLA's  for allocated analysis and architecture services without guidance and monitoring for daily activity and for project activities, respecting the principles and rules in place
  • Contributes to, improves, and develops new concepts for Information Security Management
  • Proposes changes and improvements of existing IT application services and processes in a coordinated way (. performing SWOT / risk analysis, developing different solution scenarios, describing benefits and concerns per scenario, suggesting recommendations)
  • Undertakes complex systems designs and leads the development process, using allocated colleagues as necessary for detailed analysis and coding activities
  • Develops and implement  improvements in the service portfolio, provides input to the Department Manager/Head of IOC UA related to service portfolio management for the service line/IT organization
  • Ensure a proper integration of systems belonging to the company's Upstream of Hydrocarbon Accounting area, Program Management Framework and other IT systems in the area of Production & Well Engineering portfolio
  • Ensures that for each system in his/her area of responsibility a proper documentation of the system implementation, as well as running maintenance, is being organized and held up to date

Requirements:

  • University degree or higher in IT field
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
  • Extensive experience in IT with focus in  Production&Well Engineering area, working ideally with multidisciplinary teams, preferably in international environment.
  • Advance command of English (written and spoken)
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and PLSQL and of Oracle technologies (Oracle Developer, Oracle Databases, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports)
  • Advance knowledge of  Microsoft development tools, SQL Server Reporting Services, Power BI
  • Experience in new technology evaluation and technical change management
  • Very good understanding of QA/QC rules applicable in Upstream business
  • Advanced knowledge of ITIL and other Application analysis & design frameworks and best practices
  • Proven ability to adjust to complex new tasks & situations in an effective manner, for own scope of responsibility and as role model for more junior colleagues
  • Intermediate project management skills
