Sr Expert Business Integration Mgmt GIS

What is the role about?

The Senior Expert Business Integration Management GIS is responsible to analyze, design, develop, and support GIS architecture and applications, on-premise and cloud, required to meet the business objectives and requirements in accordance with the company standards. He/she needs to contribute significantly with technical knowledge and be part of: complex IT projects, architectural design implementation or architectural changes of IT systems, having analytical skills, specific IT architecture knowledge and abilities in using software tools or programming languages, in order to produce and implement workable solutions based on the requirements/ needs.

Responsibilities:

• Contributes to the development geospatial architecture, workflows and applications;
•  Proposes changes and improvements of existing geospatial environment and related IT applications;
•  Analyses and designs geospatial application web services effectively and efficiently;
•  Analyses higher complexity user requests, resolve technical and application problems and defines procedures for it;
•  Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain weband desktop-based business applications built on existing GIS technologies or third party solutions;
•  Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications;
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties;
•  Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget;
• Provides new solutions & interact with external provider, takes part in provider selection process and coordinates external consultants. Position Description - Page 2 out of 3 Version: 2019;
•  Guide and coaches from a technical perspective the GIS team;
• Pro-actively identifies and implements IT improvement ideas supported by corporate functions. Verifies fit between business requirements and project deliverables and acts as escalation point for business stakeholder if needed; Measures customer satisfaction and acts as escalation point, if necessary.

Requirements:

• Master Diploma (Engineering /IT);
• Relevant professional experience more than 9 years; experience in operational support for on-premise and cloud platforms;
• Advanced knowledge about IT relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), GIS enterprise systems based on ArcGIS, application management / IT processes (. ITIL), UML;
• Advanced knowledge about programing language Visual Studio, Oracle SqlDeveloper, Microsoft Expression Suite, PL/SQL, C#, ASP.NET, Java Script, HTML, CSS, Python Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and distributed networks;
• Advanced level knowledge of web services configuration, network administration, programming (REST APIs);
• English – advanced level;
• Detailed expertise and thorough understanding of Hybrid and Cloud Compute & Storage design domain and related topics;
• Technical mindset, contributing to the development of a coherent overarching vision for the company;
• Takes a constructive and proactive approach to problem solving;
• Professional with a high degree of integrity and honesty; Willingness to innovate and leverage emerging technologies potential.
