Sr Product Software Engineer - Full Stack Dev

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the PD Team in Cluj. You will get the opportunity to work in a small-sized team specialized on state-of-the-art technologies, complex financial algorithms and performance critical software.

You will develop and maintain both the frontend and backend of a complex financial software, as well as the end-to-end integration tests.

Part of your daily job will be to coach other developers above all on frontend topics, to find practices and methods to speed up the teamwork.

Your responsibilities:

• Evolve and maintain the current web application.
• Implement end-to-end tests.
• Optimizing web performance and scalability on both sides.
• Ensure user experience and participate in design choices.
• Facilitate communication between teams and get involved in external communication as well.

Qualifications and Skill Set

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency with AngularJS, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress (or alike).
• Experience with HTML, SCSS, CSS.
• At least 3 years of experience in Java development with strong OOP knowledge, Design patterns and JEE7.
• Strong experience in automatic testing setup, continuous integration (Teamcity, Sonar) and delivery.
• Good Maven knowledge

• Strong analytical skills and ability to abstract in complex environments.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge both on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Feel comfortable to work with version control systems like Git and Subversion and both with branching and merging strategies.
• Excellent communications skills since this position involves a high degree of interaction both with development team members and management.
• Fluent in English, both writing and orally.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Agile Software Development and Management methods and ability to excel within an "Agile" environment (. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.)
• Experience of working with several JEE application servers like WildFly, WebSphere, etc.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
