POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Manager is responsible for driving retail sales while delivering 5 Star Customer Service. This involves managing and developing the talent and capabilities of their team to achieve optimal performance. The Store Manager is also required to deliver retail operational excellence to provide an efficient and effective work environment. The Store Manager is required to spend the majority of their time on the floor, coaching and leading
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive transactions and sales of the entire team to achieve the store sales targets.
- Monitor, train and couch individual performance of each team for better performance and improve performance.
- Monitor commercial KPIs
- Understand the business trends and competitive dynamics to propose action plans to generate incremental sales.
- Create daily/weekly action plans to drive sales ,motivate the team and incentivise customers to visit the store.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in retail and/or customer service required
- Experience in leading and supervising people required
- Previous experience in cosmetic field preferred
- Specialty store management background an asset
- Excellent communication skills, leadership, organizational and time management skills
- 2 years retail and/or customer service experience required
- One-two years of management experience required
- Ability to analyze and interpret figures and comment in writing
- Professional demeanor and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner.
