Study Nurse

ARENSIA is a privately owned clinical Research Organization (CRO), with German ownership. The corporate office is in Dusseldorf, Germany and the clinical operations are in Romania, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia.
ARENSIA performs exploratory clinical trials in dedicated Phase I set-up (clinical pharmacology units), in collaboration with reputed university hospitals in Bucharest, Chisinau, Vilnius and Tbilisi.

The working environment is very dynamic, entirely focused on exploratory clinical trials in various patient populations (Phase I /II /PROOF OF CONCEPT). ARENSIA is specialized to perform highly scientific protocols, with intensive PK/PD schedules and complex biomarker research.

The candidate profile:
- Sanitary Post High School or higher education for the Major- General Nurse
- Ideally 6 months of experience in Patient Nursing
- Valid malpractice insurance and Certificate of free practice -Mandatory
- Fluent in English written and spoken (other languages are of advantage); this is absolutely mandatory, as all written company communication is in English

Description of job:
Study Nurse - works within a medical / clinical research Phase I setting. He/She collects biological samples from patients participating in the Clinical Trials, administers medication according to the Study Protocol and procedures, monitors the vital functions of the patients, takes care of specific monitoring of patients participating in the Clinical Studies according to the Study Protocol.

Responsibilities:

To prepare adequate materials for working with patients in Clinical Trials
Perform treatment/care techniques
Document the techniques performed and events occurred
Collect biological samples and perform venous punctures
Establish security of the patient during transportation to the Site, during and after various investigations
Work side-by-side with other Study Nurses and provide support to investigators and PM (Project Manager)


This position reports into the Project Leader, located in Romania.
