SME Banking Operations will act as an expert for banking issues from BAU such as: process gaps, escalation, problems in the workflow and incidents.
Stakeholders management is expected as the person will manage situations between banks and stakeholders.
Responsabilities:
- Provide input into and/or create and execute documentation and training materials for Banking Operations users;
- Provide input and expertise for the Business Releases process, being responsible for tests, stakeholders relationships and engagement;
- Obtain or provide approval for changes to rules, processes and policies;
- Assist Banking Operations users on the technical issues raised by EMs on the standard process;
- Perform analysis and capture systems gaps to increase standardization in payments space;
- Drive system changes to ensure business continuity;
- Maintain constant communication on process updates and new requirements with the Leadership team;
- Develop own technical and soft skills as identified and agreed in personal development plan;
- Prepare and deliver trainings to Banking Operations team members on new processes;
- Provide support and recommendations for improvements to Banking Operations Managers and Global Process Experts;
- Highlight and follow up for resolution on non-standard processes;
- Act as first point of contact for the Banking Operations team in relation to process optimization;
- Develop good working relationships with peers within PTP space and other functions within GBS to facilitate knowledge sharing;
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with key contacts in end markets and other stakeholders;
- Work with Banking Operations team to propose and implement process improvements that will improve the overall efficiency of the Accounts Payable Process and/or improve the control environment;
- Work with peer members from other departments, to improve the overall efficiency of the GBS processes and/or improve to control environment;
Requirements:
- Understand the impact of the accounting process and practice;
- Understand the platforms and analyze reports, identify issues and challenges within reports functionalities and data;
- At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Payments or Banking;
- Understand and apply relevant financial skills and knowledge;
- Advanced expertise in Excel;
- Good planning skills and interpersonal skills;
- Proactively identify potential issues;
- Coordinate team projects;
- Understand impact of the results on the other departments and on the EM;
- Avdanced level of English;
- SAP is nice to have.
