This is a chance to join a leading provider of IP network testing systems; successful applicants will have the opportunity to further develop their hardware installation and troubleshooting skills as well as networking skills in the area of Layer 2-7 testing.
Responsibilities
• Assist customers with booking, preparing, testing, packing and shipping of Ixia hardware by following the internal procedure
• Accurately log, track and maintain customer service requests
• Accurately maintain the internal database with status and info regarding the shipped or inhouse items
• Effectively work and communicate with local Support and Engineering team as well as EMEA Sales team
• Provide basic level telephone and email support to internal customers located in EMEA region
• Achieve customer satisfaction and metric goals
• On demand support during late shifts (not on a regular basis)
Requirements
• Student (4th year of study) or Master
• Knowledge of hardware architectures and software installation across different OS
• Strong hardware troubleshooting skills
• Windows and Linux knowledge (user level as well as admin)
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to coordinate with teams in offshore locations
• Self-sufficient self-starter who can work with little or no direction
Desirable
• Scripting knowledge
• OS imaging tools knowledge
• Networking background (CCNA) is a plus
