System Administrator

Your mission:

As our future colleague, you will monitor and manage our cloud infrastructure, which is spread over three continents. You will set up new servers and you will write custom monitoring scripts and tools that would help our support team in debugging further issues.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent English speaking and writing capabilities;

• Good Linux (Debian/Alpine/Ubuntu/CentOS)

• BASH scripting/debugging knowledge (including sed, awk, grep);

• DNS administration/User/host account administration;

• Experience with Apache , lighttpd, Nginx, Nagios, MySQL

• TCP/IP networking, troubleshooting, monitoring; basic Linux firewall knowledge

• Source/binary package installation (Linux packages)

• Proficient in using version control systems, such as Git;

• K8s, Docker, Proxmox (KVM, LXC, OpenVZ), XEN, K3s

• Cloud services management: Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3), Linode, GCP

Would be a plus:

• Common programming and scripting languages (Perl, Python, PHP, C) knowledge;

• Advanced experience with mod_security, s/chroot, MySQL replication, PostgreSQL, Cassandra

• Software integration experience (makefile, cmake, rpmbuild, debuild)

• Configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Rundeck, Puppet, Chef)

• FreeBSD (or flavors) administration skills;
