Visma IT & Communications AS is now looking for a System Engineer to join the Cloud Service Brokerage team. The Cloud Services Brokerage is the single interface between the cloud providers and the group providing combined technology, people and methodologies to ensure Visma’s place as one of the leading cloud software providers in Europe. As the Cloud Services Brokers in Visma, we provide our expertise and the best tools and practices to manage the use, performance, and delivery of cloud services for the entire group.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist the system manager in knowledge transfer to the Operations and Service Desk

• Be proactive and come up with change suggestions to continuously improve the systems and solutions

• Participate and be a resource person in projects and new solutions

• Maintain up to date documentation in cooperation with System Manager

• Contribute to incident resolution

• Plan and execute approved changes according to procedures

• Handle Customer Requests related to Public Cloud Accounts/Subscriptions

• Take and maintain certifications to document competence within relevant System areas in cooperation with system managers

Main requirements: 

• Master's or Bachelor's degree within IT

• Experience in operating services in an enterprise environment.

• Experience in IT operation environments and ITIL Processes.

• Knowledge of one or more Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Highly effective written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and experience dealing effectively with a wide range of people

• Fast learner - research capabilities for obtaining the required information.

• Technical qualifications/knowledge within some of these fields will be considered as an advantage:

  • Infrastructure as Code

  • CI/CD

  • Automation

  • Scripting (Python/Bash/Powershell)

  • Maintaining/Securing Operating System (Linux/Windows Server)

  • Security

  • Databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

  • Monitoring in Cloud

Desirable Certifications

Preferably one of the following:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

• Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer

• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator

• ITIL 4 Foundation
