Visma IT & Communications is looking for a passionate System Manager in the Monitoring area, responsible for the Application Performance Management tools (currently working with AppDynamics).

You must have a drive to develop high quality processes that will run in an unusually complex technical environment. You will be a member of the Tools team in our IT Development department, but also in the Monitoring squad, where your skills and contributions to manage our AppDynamics instances will be very visible. You must love to help team members and to receive help from them. The team is international so you will use English both written and orally. Technical skills:

*Master's or Bachelor's degree in related fields, preferably Computer Engineering area, with an overall minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

*Deep understanding of enterprise management best practices specifically around such areas as application performance management

*Proven experience with the AppDynamics suite of APM software

*In-depth knowledge of monitoring and application performance solutions specifically implementing AppDynamics

*Working with a wide variety of platforms and application stacks, ability to understand new application framework environments quickly

*Proven proficiency with Monitoring of large scale applications

*Solid systems administration understanding (Linux, Windows)

*Solid understanding of configuration management processes

*Experience in scripting languages (Powershell)

*Experience with Agile/DevOps environment is an advantage

*Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies is an advantage

*Demonstrated resilience, diplomacy, influence, relationship building, and problem solving skills in a variety of situations

*Digital skills (. Google for Work apps).

*Fluency in Business English is required

Tasks:

*Implement application monitoring using AppDynamics

*Research and keep current on APM technologies and communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective

*Keep up to date the Solution Design document related to AppDynamics

*Administer, monitor and maintain system security

*Plan and run AppDynamics workshops for software development teams throughout Visma, for knowledge sharing purposes

*Ensure Customer Satisfaction in the Services Delivered and Continuous improvement of services

*Support in Proposals preparation for new and existing services

*Collaborate with Solution and System Managers on monitoring requirements.

*Documentation on proper usage of tools to quickly identify issues and triage solutions.

*Evaluate new tools and technology to provide application and infrastructure monitoring.
