System Security Manager

Experience in delivering security analysis or consultancy in some of the mentioned technology areas (SIEM, Firewall, Windows and Linux Server Security Hardening).
Passion for IT Security and experience in implementing tools and controls within a commercial environment.
Technology, risk management, business continuity and disaster recovery, compliance or audit background helpful.
Excellent time management and analytical skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Awareness of the importance of timing, politics and group processes in managing change.
Team oriented.
Strong project management skills.
Nice to have: Elastic Stack Knowledge.

• Explain to risk owners the causes, likelihood and potential business impacts of information risks throughout the information system lifecycle.
• Develop or review new security architectures that mitigate the risks posed by new technologies and business practices.
• Deliver complex, enterprise scale solutions to a range of large scale clients.
• Scope security testing activities, and explain the results and required remediation.
• Conduct security monitoring and investigating security incidents.
• Maintains access by providing information, resources, and technical support.
• Ensures authorized access by investigating improper access; revoking access; reporting violations; monitoring information requests by new programming; recommending improvements.
• Establishes computer and terminal physical security by developing standards, policies, and procedures; coordinating with facilities security.
• Develops security awareness by providing orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
